Spotify keeps pausing randomly

I've done everything that spotify has recommended. Logged out of every device, reinstalled, cleared chache and it still keeps on pausing. I'm very frustrated because I'm paying 11.99 for an app that doesn't work

Does this occur only on the mobile device or across multiple platforms? 
Are any external devices connected when this happens and, if yes, what are they?
 

You can check out this FAQ page here - it contains a list of potential causes for what you're experiencing at the moment.
And in case nothing helps - you can take a look at your 3-rd party apps and remove access to them one by one to see if any are causing the issue. 
We previously had issues where e.g. the Discord app was taking over the playback for a moment, causing the music to pause every thirty seconds or so, so it might be useful to have a look at these apps as well 🙂
