Spotify on galaxy s3 says it has stopped and wont open

Hello out there. it has been 4 days since i have been on Spotify. i have been getting the screen on my S3 saying the spotify have stopped and i have uninstalled and reinstalled the app and it still say it has stopped. SO beside getting a new phone i have no clue what to to do. i have sprint service and i am a premium member

I suspect you may still have some old folders left over from the old spotify app. Could you try a clean reinstall following the steps in this post. Ignore any references to external SD cards if you don't have one.

Thank you Joe for the response. i had a bad file on the SD card and just re format the card and now it opens and now i am re downloading some of the playlist i had.
