Spotify pauses at high volume warning level even on loudspeaker

Hi,

I'm using a Galaxy Note 3 with Android 4.4.2

When I'm using my headphones, my phone normally warns me when I increase the volume for music apps, Spotify included, past a certain point around maybe 75%.

Recently though I've noticed that when I listen to Spotify, and only Spotify, on loudspeaker that as soon as I hit the level where the warning would appear with headphones, Spotify pauses what I'm listening to.

The same issue appears on my wife's Note 3.

What happens if you turn the safe volume level warning off?

I don't get the warning when it's on loudspeaker, I've just noticed that it's at the exact same level as I would get the warning if I was using headphones.

And the sound doesn't actually switch off when I have the headphones in, I just can't increase the volume until I dismiss the warning.

Ok. Sounds like an issue with your ROM as Android controls the sound levels.
