Spotify says I am offline when wifi is from a wifi extender.

Spotify works fine when I am ijn the house and wifi comes from the main router. In my workshop I have  wifi extender which connects to the main router via the electric power circuit. The wifi signal is very strong from the extender. However, Spotify either says I am offline (when I have good internet connection) or, if it does connect, it cuts in an out for long periods.

Can you try reinstalling the app with these steps? 

Also, does it happen if you access Spotify from the same WiFi connection on a different device? We'll see what we can suggest.

Thank you. I have re-installed everything - router + extender and Spotify.
After many attempts it is now working OK. I think the problem was more to
do with the wi-fi extender going via the electric power circuit, and
possibly the power breaker in my workshop. In any case I am now tending to
download what I want to hear first, so wi-fi is not an issue. Thanks for
your help.
