Spotify skips and pauses frequently

I am running spotify from my galaxy s6 edge and I've noticed that it skips or pauses for s few seconds every other song. I have reinstalled spotify and cleared caches but still same issues. Is there anything else I can try on my phone. Thanks in advance.

Hi and welcome to the community!

It sounds like there is an app on your phone taking up all your processing power - tocheck this look under Settings/Apps and then swipe over to running. Once there, have a look and see if there is an app draining your phones processing power.

To fix this, uninstall the offending app.

It's also a good idea to clean the phones cache too as this sometimes helps. To do this follow these steps;

1) Turn off the phone

2) Press and hold the home, power and volume down buttons simultaneously until the phone vibrates

3) When the Samsung logo appears, release them

4) Tap the volume down button to select 'wipe cache partition' and select it with the power button and then select 'yes'

5)Wait for the process to complete (it could take a while)

6) Reboot your phone
