Spotify won't play a specific song

Spotify won't play a specific song

Plan: Premium

Device: Google Pixel

Operating System: Android 9

My Question or Issue

For whatever reason, when I attempt to play the song "James Dean" by The Wrecks, the song does not play. It does not show up in the now playing section and, when set in queue, just acts as if it does not exist and moves on to the next song. This is the only song I have encountered this with.

Hi there!

I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try restarting your device? Sorry if this may sound a bit repetitive but if that doesn't help, try a quick clean reinstall of the app by following these steps.

Have you tried it with another Spotify account?

If you're still having trouble, could you let me know the exact version of Spotify and the exact version of the operating system you're running?

I'll see what I can suggest next!

From what I can tell, the problem is OS independent as it will not play on Windows, Android, or iOS. As well, I have tried restarting the application to no avail. My friend can play the song but I cannot. I've tried to reinstall the app but that did not fix the problem.

Exactly what's happening to me too, is there a fix for this?

Hey there @user-removed,

Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community, and welcome 🙂

Just to confirm, is it happening across all devices?
