Spotify works, then when I change album/track it won't connect to devices

Spotify will work normally, and then when I change album/track it will no longer connect to my device (HEOS). Only way I can find to fix it is uninstalling and reinstalling. This works for one attempt and then stops again.

No network settings have changed and other devices connected work fine. Guest's phones work fine.
