Tapping "Storage" not working to download on SD card

My Question or Issue

Hi everyone,

I can't seem to save my downloads on my SD card. I have plenty of room on it, but the Spotify app won't let me tap Storage to choose where I want my downloads to go. They just all save on my internal storage and we all know that storage is precious! 🙂

Can someone please help me? Am I doing something wrong?

I hope someone can. I'm running into the same problem since the latest update. Saved on SD fine before.

I formatted my SD-card and this seemed to have solved the problem.  The storage option re-appeared and I can save my music on my SD-card again. Really strange that this happened right after the update. Also try to remove your sd-card first, I skipped that step.

By the way I'm on a LG G6.
