My Question or Issue
The time bar does not work properly, the music is playing but has no time or time progress. On my car, the infotainment does not recognise that is play something, this was not an problem on the anterior version. The issue appeared at the same time with the new updates.
i'd also like to add a rather peculiar issue, the notification bar shows another song while a completely different song plays. i recently did a hard reset to my device so i guess the issue is with the latest spotify updates. Galaxy S23, all notification and access settings are enabled

It's been fixed for me
I have the same problem with the time bar, but only when I use spotify connect on volumio. Everything works, but the progress of the song is not displayed, regardless of which device I use to control spotify.

All notifications enabled.
Logged in and out twice.
Reinstalled app.
Still unable to see play bar.

According to the relevant team, this issue should be fixed now. So we'd recommend making sure that the OS version of your device is up to date and that you're running the latest version of the app.
If the issue persists after this, include in your next response the exact OS version of your device, along with the Spotify version you've installed to continue investigating this behavior with the relevant team.
