in addition to this, I've deleted all the data before uninstalling-reinstalling the app thrice but the issue still persists

Hi there @Airi17,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community. We're happy to help.

Can you confirm that you followed the steps that's provided in this article? There's some more steps to help thoroughly uninstall the app from your phone so if you haven't, we'd highly suggest it since the steps will make sure there's no old cache files causing this.

If that doesn't do the trick and you have an SD card we suggest that you uninstall the app > turn off your phone > take out your SD card > turn on the phone again (without the SD card) > reinstall the app since the card can be corrupted.

Let us know how it goes.

Take care!

Hi, Jeremy.

Thanks for the assistance.

Yes, the method in said article is how I usually do the uninstalling-reinstalling of my apps whenever it was having some issues and despite doing that on my Spotify app, the issue still remains.

Also, I don't use any SD cards.

Hey again @Airi17,

Thank you for your reply and confirmation.

Can you try the following:

  • Unplug your router for 15 minutes and then restart it
  • Try an alternative connection (if you're on a public or office network try a private network, if possible)
  • Soft reset of the device
  • Ensure the operating system is up-to-date
  • Ensure device has enough storage space

We'll keep an eye out for your reply.

Cheers!

Hi, thanks for the reply.

Yes, I have tried all of it but unfortunately it still didn't work. I still can't access said playlist and Spotify still crashes whenever I try to open it

Hi again @Airi17,

Thank you for your reply and for the troubleshooting you've done so far.

Can you have someone log into their account on your device - such as a friend or a family member to see if the issue persist? This will help us understand if it's account related or not.

Keep us posted 🙂

Cheers!

Hi there.

I've had someone log in to their account on my device however it still isn't working. But when they log back on to their own device it's working just fine.

Hey @Airi17,

Thanks for your reply.

This could be related to either your account or your device. To check, could you log in to your account on a different phone and let us if this behavior persists?

We'll be on the lookout.

Hi.
I've tried this as well but it still didn't work. By now, I think it's my account that has a problem.
