I have a playlist of songs by "The Piano Guys". Spotify on my phone is now complaining that the tracks are not available, while I can still stream them on my desktop app. Also, the playlist on my phone is not displayed fully anymore. It does state the correct number of songs in the playlist, but when I open the playlist it only shows about 7 out of 17 songs, with only 2 playable.
Hey 🙂
Are the tracks stored as local files on your desktop?
If so then they will be playable on your desktop but not in the mobile client (unless you sync them) as they are not in the Spotify library.

Only two are local files. This is the link to the album, which, strangely enough, is only partly online available:

I have this problem too. What do you mean by "unless you sync them"? I have selected all my songs to be available offline, and some of them still aren't available on my phone. Most of them are songs that aren't on spotify. Do songs need to be on spotify for me to play them on my phone?
Hey! 🙂
You need to connect your phone to the same WiFi network as your computer for the local files to sync. You can read more about it in the FAQs.

hi there guys
just recently got a premium account and was syncronising my songs onto my android (desire S, will be galaxy III within the next week) . So, I have a mixed playlist on my desktop, everything is working fine, all of 'em can be streamed an listend to. But now as I was syncronising my phone with the desktop, 3 of these titels just dont sync. If I wanna make them play it says "title not availabe", though it is available on my desktop. Been playing around with offline and online modus, nothing worked. All the other songs in this playlists are working fine. Have no clue why... maybe yee can help me. These files are not local!
thx

I have the same exact problem, my songs will not sync. I added the song (Gangsta Rap Made Me Do It) to my playlist on Desktop, I have it as a local file and if you change the data of the file Spotify recognizes it as a real song. It links it to the actual album (Raw Footage) so I can play it perfectly fine on Desktop but it won't sync on Mobile even though I switch between my 2,4GHz and 5GHz WiFi.
What to do?
