Volume Lowering by Itself When Playing Through Phone Speakers

After the most recent update, whenever I try to play a song over my speakers max volume on my Moto X Pure Edition, the volume will gradually lower itself to a headphone level even though I didn't touch the volume controls.

I do not  have any kind of EQ installed or any other app open when playing the music. Is anyone else having this problem? Does anyone know of a solution?

Hi. I remember this happening when you were on low battery... I'd suggest you to downgrade to previous version and check if it's the new version the problem (apkmirror.com)

Have you tried a clean install? Also the moto x has an inbuilt eq in the Settings menu, go to Sound & Notification, and select Audio Effects.

Try disabling the eq and see if the problem persists?
