I have a POCO F2 Pro with android 12 and miui.eu 14.0.4 and a family membership.
As others before me, the volume turns up to max when the song change, to back normal once I press any volume button.
This happen a lot of times, sometimes 2/3 times in 10 songs, other times 6/7 times (almost every time the song change).
Sometimes it happen 1/2 seconds before the song end, and it remain al max volume until I click on a volume button
This is pretty annoying, and dangerous for ears and headphones so, considering that other people have already had this problem, anyone know how to fix it?
This is happening for years now, and I'm not going to but another phone for a spotify bug.
The phone doesnt have any other problem, and this happen only with spotify.
Already done a clear unistall, deleted chache ecc..
Anyone? :')
Hey @AS001,
Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome.
In this case, we'd like to gather some additional info. Would you mind sharing with us the OS of the affected device along with the Spotify version you're running there?
On another note, and just to confirm, is this happening when your mobile device is connected to headphones or a speaker via Bluetooth, or does it happen no matter if the device is connected to an external device? Let us know if you notice any changes with the tracks downloaded into the app.
Lastly, is this happening on a different mobile device? It’d be awesome if you could check. If possible, you can ask for the mobile device of a relative or friend to open your account and check.
Keep us in the loop!
Hi
Thank for your reply
My Device (poco f2 pro) is run ing Android 12 with a xiaomi.eu rom (Version 14.0.4.0). I had this problem for years, so its hard to me remember the exactly moment when this problem start to occur, maybe with Android 12, when miui implemented the sound Assistant in their devices. In that time spotify was at the Version 8.6.86.1231 . Now im running the last Version of spotify : 8.8.32.508 .
The problem happen with bluetooth headphones, normal headphones with 3.5mm Jack and eveni with the phone speakers: everything that is linked to the phone is affected by this bug.
This problem occur only on this Device, and ad I saw on the net, is a common problem for this device, i tryed on a Samsung phone but all was fine.
I appreciate the effort to fix the problem 🙂

Hello
I May have found a Solution
Now, lets skip all my attempts during these years to fix the problem, but now maybe its seems to be working, at least, I'm without that bug since a week, and this never happened before.
I have deactivated the equalizer.
I have already deactivated it before but I still got the problem, now I tryed to deactivated it on my pc, then on my phone, Clear all and im fine right now.
Just log in your pc if you logged out, and it worked.
I'll write if it back, but looks good right now.
Meanwhile you can investigare in the equalizer system and into the spotify Connect system. 🙂
It does also happen on Poco F4
Thanks it works for me.
Same issue I m facing with POCO F5 though I have updated spotify app and android version to the latest version. Kindly resolve asap.
Same issue at poco x3
Same issue Xiaomi 10t lite miui 13.0.12. tried clearing cache, reinstalled, volume normalize settings... Affecting phone speaker and Bluetooth randomly when song changes. Tapping the volume up or down slightly corrects the volume.
It has definitely to do with the Spotify equalizer. If equalizer is enabled volume goes wild when I scroll to a track. Very bad behavior of the app.
I can't believe that I finally found a solution to this problem...It's been years that every night this has destroyed my ears and sleep. thank you
