So I'm searching an artist, I'm pressing the ''see all singles and EP's' '', I press options button on one of the songs in the list without listening to it and the app closes. I've tried it a lot of times' happens every time

Hey @coldzilla, @DerDuffman and @KD5TGA,
Spotify version 8.4.91 has been released for Android.
Could you please update the app to see if this solves the issue?
Looking forward to your reply.
Have a nice day!
Hi there!
I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a quick clean reinstall of the app. Just follow these steps.
If you're still having trouble, could you let me know the exact version of Spotify and the exact version of the operating system you're running?
I'll see what I can suggest next! 🙂
So I did this:
1. Entered app manager and cleared all data from application
2. Clean uninstall
3. Reinstall latest version from Play Store
The current version of the app is 8.4.89.515
It still has the same behavior.
I have had Spotify for a while now, less than a year, and have never had a problem browsing or adding music or albums to my playlist...until now.
I can confirm that Spotify will crash, every time, without fail, when I:
1. Open Spotify fresh or after has been running
2. Search for artist (Tap the search icon on bottom of screen)
3. Type in artist name (doesn't mater what artist, have tested with 5 different artists all with same results).
4. Select artist
5. Scroll to "See All Albums" and select
6. Find an album, select by tapping and holding or using 3 dots to side
7. App pauses then crashes (confirmed that this happens with any and all albums selected)
8. Playback stops and am dumped to Android screen.
Attempted troubleshooting:
1. Reboot phone
2. Force close app (even after crash, Android said it was still running)
3. Uninstall and re-install app.
Result of troubleshooting: App still crashes. Only change: now playback doesn't stop.
This is odd since I can select the three or four or so albums from the artist page but not from the album list. I have found that I CAN add the album if I find the album name and then subsequently search for that album and open and add it to whatever playlist I want.
This is quite frustrating to be required to jump through massive hoops to do something that I once could do. Something is obviously not quite right. Assistance would be appreciated.

I have the exact same problem. Happens only on my Galaxy S7 (Android 6), not on my tablet or pc. Realy frustrating, I have to click on the album first, then adding works, just not one the overview page. I can't believe, there is no solution for this.

Yes, it is working now for me, tried it multiple times
I have likewise confirmed that the upadate appears to have solved the problem. I can no longer replicate the issue.
Thanks for a quick response!
