What's with the lack of album support?

 I'm just downfounded by the lack of album information, or any easily functional ways to navigate directly to an artist's album.  Is there something I'm missing as to why this isn't included in the most basic of functions?  Is it just android auto?

For clarification, I don't understand why an artist's album name isn't included with the song title information.  And, even more so, why there isn't a button to quickly navigate to the artist (or even at minimum a button that will load the album into the play-next queue). 

Google voice is half functional in helping with this, but still awful.  For one, I can't simply say "OK Google, what album is this?"  At first I thought it wasn't capable, but if I say "OK Google, what album is the song (song name) on?"  Then it will tell me what the name of the album is in which case I can ask for it to be played.  But, we seriously need a function like, "OK Google, play this album."  This should be in the ABCs of basic functionings for voice commands.

Not having any album functionality really destroys my experience with Spotify while driving.
