When an album is "saved" the songs don't go to your liked songs (previously the "songs" section)

My Question or Issue

In the past when I saved an album it would also save it to the "songs" category of my library. I could listen to my whole library on shuffle by shuffling from my songs. Since this has changed to the "Liked Songs" playlist there is no way for me to save all the songs in an album to a place where I can shuffle all my music.  "Liked Songs" also isn't a playlist, so I can't use the "save to playlist" feature. So, to save songs to "Liked Songs", I seem to have to like each song individually. 

The only way to listen to my whole library on shuffle now is to go to my liked songs, but now that "liked songs" is separated from both the playlist and library categories. This makes it difficult to add all songs to a place where I can listen to them all.
