When searching for a specific song in a Playlist...

When I look to play a specific song within a Playlist and I search for it, I try and click the song I want and it does not seem to register that I have searched at all, and plays a different song than I click. It seems to just play the song that would have been in its place from the top of the Playlist.

Yes, I'm having the exact same problem. Spotify support needs to address this. After being with Spotify for 8 years, it seems like there are never ending problems with the mobile version, and it needs to be looked at.

I have this exact same problem on my Samsung Galaxy S4 Active. It works fine on the PC app, so it must be either that my phone is old or something. Which phones are you guys using? My firmware is the latest from Jan 2017. When I chatted with a CS rep, they said it worked fine on their phone. Hope it gets fixed soon.

EDIT: I have Android 5.0.1 (latest for S4 Active)

I am having the same problem it seems to be playing the song at the top of my playlist instead of the song i've been searching for. Any update on when this will be fixed?

Also having the same problem. An artist I follow has released a new song and when I click on it a completely different artist plays - someone I don't follow or like. 😞
