My Question or Issue

When I open Spotify on my phone, the message "Restarting App. Won't be long." pops up at bottom of the screen for a few seconds every time, which has been happening for a few months now. Googling the issue always comes up fruitless, does anyone know why this might be?

You should try deleting and reinstalling the app. Hopefully that'll fix the issue. 🙂

Hey @Chiarocula,

Thanks for turning to the Community!

Just like @osornios suggested, reinstalling is a great first step to make sure your app is up-to-date! Just so you know, if that does not help, you can always try a clean reisntall.

Let us know if you need further help!

I had tried this before, but I gave it another go and so far, no message. I'm keeping an eye out for it but I'm hopeful (:
Cheers!

Hey @Petya,

Cheers for that, I haven't noticed the message since but if I do, I'll try a clean reinstall.
Thanks to @osornios for the help too, I was surprised nobody else seems to have come across the message. Hopefully, I won't again!

I think it gave the message to me when i tried transferring data from phone to sd card

Luckily there is an solution but just watch out with transferring data i guess
