Why isn't Spotify showing new releases on the 'new release' page?

I am a user from Hong Kong and I love American and European music. But the issue that keeps me thinking about switching to Apple Music is that the 'new release' page just shows some but not all new releases. Just take this month as an example, I do not see

- The Divine Feminine, Mac Miller

- Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight, Travis Scott

- Splendor & Misery, clipping.

- My Women, Angel Olsen

- Prima Donna, Vince Staples

- Jeffery, Young Thug

- Emotion Side B, Carly Rae Jepsen

until I check the artists' pages manually so that I can stream these albums and EPs!

Had I not been notified by The Needle Drop on YouTube, does it mean I would not be able to know they released new stuff because I simply did not receive any notifications nor see them on the 'new release' page? How un-user-friendly this app is!

I thought Spotify aims to let people discover great music and great artists but now I am disappointed. Is it true that only artists pay for advertisements will Spotify puts their music on the 'new release' page? After all, at least Apple Music shows these good albums on their page.

I don't why this happens and I am frustrated for these three months' trial for HK$4.9. I hope someone from the Spotify staff can fix it. If the problem is because of my location, then fine, I'll just switch to Apple Music.

I suggest for you to check swarm.fm for notifications of your followed artists.
