Why won't my podcasts load and play?

Why won't my podcasts load and play?

Even if I have good signal or wifi my podcasts won't play or download. The app has been updated, I uninstalled and reinstalled it, and restarted my phone. Music plays just fine. But podcasts won't. System wide issue or just me?

I have a playlist of ten podcast episodes that won't download. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, logged out, restarted the computer. There's plenty of space on the computer too. Crazy that spotify is a paid app.

Same issue here its been like that since 7pm last night come on man.

Also having this issue. Definitely system wide. So I think we just have to wait until the Spotify team acknowledges the problem and releases an update that addresses this 😕

As of today no podcasts will download on my phone (Samsung galaxy S20). Music and music playlists still download fine. Tried reinstalling, clearing cache, restarting phone, etc. but no change. Plenty of storage left (80 GB) and my wifi internet connection is fine so no idea what the issue is.

Podcasts won’t play or download. Some play for a few minutes then stop. Notices some songs in playlists just skip to next song. All together weird playback issues on downloaded and often played content the last two days.
