Wifi connection shuts down as soon as I use Spotify in online mode (streaming, downloading).

Hi everybody

I use Spotify on my laptop, on my HTC one and Samsung Galaxy Tab 3.

On the laptop there is no problem at all. 

On the HTC one and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 the Wifi connection shuts down, as soon as I use Spotify in online mode (steaming). Other apps then also don't have a connection. Restarting the devices doesn't help. Uninstalling spotify and deleting all data, then reinstalling it didn't help as well. 

All the other apps I use don't create troubles with the wifi connection. There is also no problem if I use 3G.

Can anybody help me through this annoying problem?

That is very odd. It happens when you use either device?

I wonder if the fault is actually on the router. What happens if you make the connection so that you steam something until it disconnects. Then reboot your router? Does the phone reconnect?

Can you try a factory reset on the router?

This same issue happens at my house, my router constantly goes down because of this...

This also happens with me. Is it a phone issue? Do I need to get a newer phone or what? Just wanna listen to music at home and its always not working cause the wifi stops when use that app.

I have a similar problem: when listening Spotify trough streaming in my laptop it shuts down my WIFI connection.

Solution (after trying MANY others): I turned off my mobile, which uses the same Spotify account in the same Wifi NW.

Now Spotify works beautifully.

Why? I have no clues...........
