Wrong song plays when Play is pressed on Song page.

My Question or Issue

When I select a song and goes into its info page, I press Play and a different song starts playing.

This happens on Search results so far. The wrong song may not be the same title, not the same album, not the same author singer etc, not in the search resultset.

Replicable, but the wrong song is not guaranteed to be the same in a new search (i.e. if I search "Rhapsody in Blue" twice the the wrong song is a different wrong song after 2 hours).

If I search "mountains Zimmer" even the first result plays a wrong song.

If I search mountains interstellar the 2nd result is correct and the green shows that Mountains is playing, BUT if I now select the green highlighted mountains and press play, the same wrong song comes back.

Hi @Serwei!

Note that the mobile app doesn't fully support on-demand playback for free users, which is why the tracks you search for are shuffled with other similar ones. In most cases you can only play in Shuffle mode, with the exception of up to 15 Pick and Play playlists, usually found in Search > Made for You. More info in this article.

You can still pick and play any song you want via the desktop app or the Web Player.
