Your lack of Android attention is causing me to cancel my subscription.

Your lack of Android attention is causing me to cancel my subscription.

The Android app was in a sorry state for a long time, until I discovered the beta that was available. Downloaded that, and while it was marginally better it still had its bugs and crashed from time to time. I thought that was over with the "official" app store update, but I guess not. I constantly have the app stop playing on me, falling back to a completely black cover art with 0:00 as the play time. If I start a song again, it might or might not work. It might keep playing for 30 seconds before stopping, or it might go on for an hour. The bottom line is, this is bull**uh-oh**, and if it shouldn't have been picked up in the beta test (it should), at least it should have been fixed by now.

The second thing I'm pissed off about really isn't about Android, but it's the fact that when I've disabled my Facebook account, I get a notification saying "Failed to enable Spotify social" every single time I log in to the program. Unchecking the box for Social in the settings does absolutely nothing. You didn't consider that it might not be worth nagging the user after a while about the whole facebook integration thing?

tl;dr I've paid for Spotify for a long time but I'm sick of this, and I'll be moving to local mp3s or another streaming service permanently.

On your desktop app, you have to disconnect from Facebook. Reactivate FB, go to preferences and click disconnect from facebook.

If any new users are reading this, this is only possible for users who signed up before they made Facebook mandatory (September 22nd 2011).

First of all, I'm not reactivating Facebook just to remove the Spotify connection, I should be able to remove that connection from within Spotify. Secondly, this kind of mandatory connection bull*hit is another reason why I'm leaving Spotify behind.
