android app (jelly bean), premium account: the annoying "discover music with your friends" screen keeps popping up, so i tap the back-button only to find that i was just logged out and have to log in again. right after i do, the "discover music with your friends" comes up again, thus effectivley blocking me from using the app in any way.
come on, a paying customer would like some support here please. spotify staff, anybody?
this is getting really really extremly FRUSTRATING, since i'm paying to use spotify on my smartphone on a daily basis, and right now it's not working at all and there's no change in sight 😠
additional information: i've already made the concession and tried clicking on the green login-button on the discover-music...screen, but there it won't accept my credentials. trying to retrieve them via the password-forgotten-link only tells me that I'm obviously using my facebook-credentials (which is correct).
so, I can't get past this dark discover music... screen, which renders the app 100% not working for me now.

Have you tried a clean reinstall of Spotify? Might reset the timers and everything, probably a slight bug during the install.

thanks for your reply.
the app has been running for some weeks now w/o any sign of trouble. as of this morning, the mentioned screen keeps popping up.
therefore, I'm a bit reluctant to un- and reinstall the app, since it would also delete my downloads (which could be re-downloaded, of course)... I have already shut down the app over the system's configuration->apps->active (not sure if the terms are correct, I'm using a German android ;), it didn't help.
As soon as I login (typing in my credentials on the white login screen, or tapping the facebook button there), the mentioned screen reappears, logging me out and blocking me from using the app, and so it goes over and over again... 😞
so.. any other ideas before i reinstall?

I de- and reinstalled the app. Same problem as before.
Can't access any of the apps functions (e.g. listening to music!) and it looks like I'm out of options for now.
This really sucks... 😞

So... as strange at it seems, on the mentioned screen after clicking "I'm new to spotify. Let's go" (or something to that effect, my button's text was German), I was logged in (after having logged in before getting the annoying screen). As for now, everthing works like before (only I have to download all the playlists again 😞 )...
