My Question or Issue

On my android app whenever I try to open an artist page it says "something went wrong - try again". It makes the app somewhat unusable, is there a fix?

Hey @kac3y, thanks for reaching out to the Community!

Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a clean reinstall of the app following these steps.

If you're still having trouble, let me know what device this happens on, as well as the current software version. Also, attach a screenshot of of what you’re seeing and I’ll take a closer look.

Let me know how this goes!

Reinstalling didn't work, I'm on a HP Chromebook, newest Spotify update (V.8.5.72) and Chrome OS update (V.84.0.4147).

Realised I forgot the screenshot, sorry.

Hey @kac3y

Thanks for the screenshot. Does this happen when you use a different network connection?

Also, if you try creating a new account and access artists pages, could you let me know if they load on the new account?

Keep me posted.

Still happens on new account and different network.

Hey @kac3y

Got it. And to confirm, this happens with all artists pages or a few? If just a few, can you let me know the artist names so I can take a look on my end?

Seems to happen on all artists.

Hey @kac3y

Thanks for all of the details so far. Could you let me know if this happens with the Android app on your Chromebook and not with the web player?

Keep me posted!

This only happens on the app, the web player works fine.
