Can't listen to music with internet

I am connected to internet but i can't listen to any song and when i connect my account to my mom phone i can.I downloaded spotify one week ago, my free week trial ended yesterday and i can't listen to song with wifi now.

I have a Moto x play with Android 6. I have my storage settings to save downloaded songs to my external SD card but it seems to be taking up space on the internal hard drive as well as the SD card. About 9 gigs on each. Wut up?
