black screen when turning on

until now I've been using spotify on my phone (Samsung S8) on a regualr basis, never having an issue. I tried turning it on earlier today and i'm only getting a black screen. i deleted the app and reinstalled a few times and still getting same issue. when i turn on initially it asks if i have an account and want to login, so i login as normal via facebook, then that black screen shows.

Can you let us know what operating system and Spotify version you're using? Also, since when are you having this issue?

We'd recommend logging into another device and let us know how it goes.
