Hi there @liran250,

Welcome to the Community!

We'll be happy to help out and get to the bottom of this, so we'll need a bit more info.

Did this start happening recently? Also, are you unable to see the song names in the app on your car's onboard system or when your phone is in Car View mode?

It'd be very helpful if you send us a picture, this way we'll see how things look on your end.

We'll be looking out for your reply 🙂 Don't hesitate to give us a shout if you have questions.

Same thing here. Song names and thumbnails don't appear on the playlist on a Minix Android streamer. This started only recently.

Hey @Hadardo,

Thanks for reaching out.

Could you please could you please share the full make and model and OS version of your device? As @Alex mentioned, it would help us out a lot if you attach to your reply a couple of screenshots of how the app gets displayed at your end.

Keep us posted. We’ll keep an eye out for your reply.

Hi Mihail,
Thanks for the swift reply.
The streamer is Minix Neo U1, with an Android version 5.1.1. System
language is set to Hebrew.(yup, a bit old, but perfectly functioning for
every other app).

Attached is a photo I took that shows the list screen. Rest of the screen
in the app are showing just fine.
Thanks,
Doron

Hey @Hadardo,

Thanks for getting back to us.

It seems the screenshot didn't attach correctly, would you mind sending it again? You can use the Insert Photo option in Post Editor.

Your issue also differs a bit from the original posters - you're not using your car's infotainments system, but the Minix streamer and a TV, right? Are you trying to control the app there via Connect?

If so, please not that we couldn't find the streamer on the list of devices that currently support Connect here. If that's indeed the case, keep in mind that issues with this feature are expected behavior.

Hope this helps. Let us know how you get on.

Hi Mihail.

I'm re-attaching the image.

I don't really know the exact issue of the originial poster. However, I would argue that both his car media system and my streamer are essentialy Android devices, and probably of older Android versions. I'm not using the Connect option. The app is simply istalled on that streamer, as (again) it is simply an Android device, and I log in from that app.

Hey @Hadardo,

Thanks for getting back to us.

Could you navigate to the app list of the streamer and remove the Spotify app, before installing it again?

If that's not option, could you reset the receiver to factory settings and let us know if the app displays correctly then?

Keep us posted.

Hi Mihahil,
I've uninstalled Spotify and re-installed it again. No change.

Hi there @Hadardo

Thanks for getting back in touch.

Would you mind letting us know if you've tried to reset the receiver to factory settings? If so, let us know if that made the difference.

If it didn't, we recommend trying with a different network, for example creating a hot spot on your phone and using that.

Keep us in the loop!

Hi,
It seems that there is a misunderstanding here. This is not a receiver.
This is a standalone Android device. It's practically an Android tablet
without a screen, which has an output to a TV.
This device is connected to the LAN and not a wifi network, thus replacing
the network is not the issue.

With all due respect, I will not reset the device just for Spotify, as
there are many other apps installed on it, as it performs as a media device
(e.g. Netflix, Plex, and local Israeli streaming services)

Hey again @Hadardo

Thanks for the clarification!

Could you check if your device's OS has any pending updates?

Additionally, could you ask a friend to log in to their account in your device to check if the issue persists using a different account?

Keep us posted!
