email address already in use, is my own!

Hi there, here's an interesting one. I signed up years ago with my work email address, upgraded it to a Premium account.

I no longer work at that company and dont have access to that email account.

So I wanted to change my email address to my personal email account. 

Spotify tells me that email address is already used. Turns out I made a second account signing with Facebook sometime ago. So its my own (second) account that uses my personal email.

I disconnected my Facebook account, hoping to disconnect my personal email address. But no luck! How can I get Spotify to free my personal email address so I can connect it with my Premium account?

You should be able to change the email address for your ex-facebook account to something else now to free up your personal address. If that doesn't work, use the online contact form and someone at Spotify can help get this sorted. Make sure you're logged into your old account so that the email reply goes to your personal address.
