eq turns off randomly quite fast.

android 6.0.1
samsung galaxy s5 plus
everything up to date

since 2 weeks or so the equalizer turns off in the middle of a song. it happens when i listen to downloaded music (i'm premium user) for offline use.

already deleated everything except the app (by that function found in the settings of spotify app) and redownloaded some playlist. also created new pl's.

adept sound isnt activated, even not configured.

any idea how this can be fixed?

What EQ are you using?

it's the build in eq of the app.

yesterdays update didnt fix it.

it also turns back on again by skipping to the next track.

ok. i learned, that there is no build in eq. i installed another eq app, which overrides the android eq. but it still turns off 😕

Hmm. The standard Samsung provided EQ has had issues in the past with cutting out. Try disabling it as this can be annoying when it keeps reapplying

Hello anyname,

The EQ that u are using by standard is actually the android equalizer build in standard by google, so this should be a android problem.

U could search on google for a solution, as soon as I find one I will edit this post!
