...for anyone that has the Sound Rise alarm clock

I've been having an issue with my Sound Rise alarm clock. I'll start my Spotify play list before I go to bed and set the sleep timer, but when the alarm goes off in the morning it won't connect and resume the playlist to wake me up. Has anyone else ever had this issue? I'm trying to figure out whether it's some kind of app timeout or bluetooth timeout.

I'd guess that this is a bluetooth issue. Does your android still show that it is connected to the speaker in the morning? Do you get the same thing with other music players? You may do better to pursue this with Soundfreaq.

Thanks, I have asked Soundfreaq also but I had narrowed it down to where the issue either lied with bluetooth or Spotify, so I came here. I just found out that it's the Spotify app itself that is keeping the music from resuming. It must have some kind of timeout to where the alarm clock can't reopen it and access the last played playlist.

 

If there is anyone from Spotify that sees this I'd really like to know if there's a way to keep this from happening. I couldn't find anything myself in any of the settings.
