issues with headphones and Galaxy S5

Hi There,

 

For some reason spotify doesn't play through my headphones. The songs will play on my phone and as soon as i plug in my headphones the sound stops but the songs still play?

 

Could anyone help me with this issue?

What headphones are you using? Is it just with the SPotify app or for any media?

 

 

Can you try cleaning out the headphones jack with a pipe cleaner or cotton bud to ensure there's no lint or anything breaking the connection.
