podcasts on andorid

For some reason podcasts files  appear only as capable for download but I can't just play them...

I use an android. 

Already tried reinstalling... but still isn't working.

Any ideas?

Thanks for posting and welcome to the community!

Since you mention you're having troubles playing these podcasts offline, we'd recommend giving it one more try and performing a clean reinstall of the app on your Android device.

No worries, it's easier than it sounds! Here's how to do so:

1. Head here and click Remove all devices
2. Go to your Spotify settings, scroll down to Storage and then clear the cache
3. From the Android home screen, tap Settings > Apps (Or, if you are on older version than Android 6.0, select Applications, then Manage applications.)
4. Find Spotify in your list of apps, tap it and clear the cache and data. Then select Uninstall.
5. If your device is on an older version than 6.0, go to Storage > Android > Data and delete a folder called com.spotify.music. If not, disregard this step.
6. Switch your device off and wait a couple minutes
7. Switch your device back on
8. Open the Google Play Store then search for and install the Spotify Music app.
