"Disk space full" notification renders App unusable.

"Disk space full" notification renders App unusable.

Hello Everybody.

I am a Spotify Premium User and am having trouble with the application on my mobile (Cubot S308).

The Problem is that the "Disk Space is full" message gets displayed constantly and reopens after closing it down within 1 second. I tried restarting the Application and my device but to no avail.
I also tried to close the message and do a single action (like opening a playlist and disabling the offline availability of the Playlist after closing the notification again) in the time the notification wasn't displayed. This worked but had no effect. When I manage to open the Settings in the brief Moment of time between the Notifications the Settings page gets closed once the Notification appears again and brings me back to the homescreen effectively making it impossible to change the settings or use the app.

I haven’t tried yet to disable any offline functions externally but would like to reserve this as the last method.

Thanks to everybody in advance.

Hi. Could you try a clean reinstall following the steps in this post. After removing spotify and the associated folders, it's a good idea to check how much free space you have on your device and maybe remove unnecessary apps/files to free up space if necessary.

hi im having the same issue with my android when i installed spotify and log in to my premium account. i checked on my phone's memory and it is still 10gb free space.

Hi. What model of phone and which android version are you using? What does it show under storage in android settings for both device and external?

I'm using an Android 5.1 phone.
