" This track is unavailable "

" This track is unavailable "

Hi!
First I'm french so if I do some mistakes I'm sorry! I had a Galaxy S6 Edge and I bought a Galaxy S7 Edge and on these two devices I have the same problem! When I want to listen to any song an error appears : " Ce titre n'est pas disponible " ( " This track is unavailable " ). I have a premium account so it sucks if I have a problem like that and still pay for it! My dad has the same issue.
Please help!

Hey @TheoBfy,

First, you should try deleting and reinstalling the app. Hopefully that fixes it.

Thanks for the reply @osornios !
Unfortunately this is what I did for a few months.. When I reinstall the app it works for all the songs but just for a few minutes, then the same issue appears. I just don't know what to do!

Looks like you may need a clean install, which means deleting everything Spotify has created in your phone:

1. Uninstall the app from phone by going to 'Settings' -> 'Apps' then scroll to the Spotify app and tap on it. Once loaded press 'Uninstall'.
2. Using a file manager make sure that the below folders are deleted if they still exist:

  • /emulated/0/Android/data/com.spotify.music
  • /ext_sd/Android/data/com.spotify.music
  • /sdcard1/Android/data/com.spotify.music
  • /data/media/0/Android/data/com.spotify.music

You will lose all preferences & offline playlists in doing this.

So, I uninstalled Spotify but in the file manager I downloaded none of the folders are there. So I think that what you told me to do is the same thing that I usually do. I uninstall the app and reinstall it and it'll work but just for a few minutes 😕

Too bad it didn't work. Fill out the contact form, and someone from Spotify will be happy to help you within 24 hrs. Don't forget to check your spam folder for responses as they may end up there.

If you get an automated email directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to support@spotify.com and one of the customer services agents will get back to you.
