"You're Offline", won't load Home Page at all, artist pages won't work.

"You're Offline", won't load Home Page at all, artist pages won't work.

1. My Home page won't load (Sorry, something went wrong...)

2. I can't go to Artists' pages from search (You're offline)

I am not offline. I can listen to songs from playlists online. Only Home page and artist page won't work. (I can search for a playlist and it WILL work

I tried:

1. reboot phone

2. changing from wifi to 4G

3. clearing cache

4. clearing data

5. deleting the com.spotify files from the android folder

6. uninstall and reinstall

7. logout, login with normal user, login with facebook

Nothing worked.

Please help me.

I have no idea why it's not working. I am paying for premium service that I cannot use right now.

Thanks.

Jonathan.

same here started since the last app update

up.

Is there anyone who can help from the Spotify team or should I cancel my subscription since your services are not even working?

It's the same for me, this shouldn't happen with a paid app.

Same here since last update, on all our Android phones. I'm cancelling the subscription since it is now useless.

Still no solution. or even a reply from Spotify!

Same here.. android..  i've tried all the clearing and resetting... does not work after update...

I had the same problem since the latest version update. However, I have found a solution that seems to work perfectly.

Uninstall the app and reopen it and log in again. I am now using the oldest version of Spotify on Android and it's working fine. All you need to do is uninstall all the updates from the Play Store and re-enabling the app again.

I contacted Spotify multiple times but they have one of the worst customer services I've ever seen so I tried fixing it myself. Unbelievable that we have no actual fix for a problem in a paid service like this

Yeah, I'm having the same problem. Would be nice to get the service I'm paying for, or at least get some help solving the issue.

I was able to determine to roll back prior to the March 1 update.  8.4.42.722 is working for me.

Use Google to find the APK.

Any update in March caused my account to not work properly.

I was also able to get to Spotify support through their Twitter account.  I've forwarded my findings to them.

Hi. I'm just wondering if any of you are using an android ad blocker and does disabling it help?

I'm not. It only started after it updated this morning.

I'm running version 8.4.45.633 (no update available) and everything works normally so I was wondering if another app might be causing the problem.

Originally, my account was completely fubar'd and didn't matter what version I used.  Then I let Spotify support log in and somehow that "fixed" my initial issue.  Now I can only use Spotify on that old version.

Interestingly enough, I signed up for a free account and didn't have issues ok the new version.  I only had issues with my premium account.  Definitely something fishy there.

I am using an ad blocker and it did fix it.

The question is, why would a paid premium app with s subscription won't work with ad blocker?

me too it happened ever since the update

@whelp, while Twitter support was fine and dandy, their email support is something else.  Find my post @miztahsparklez.

I can confirm this. Frontpage doesn't work if adblock is on and search finds results but doesn't load selected artist/album/song/etc.

This needs to be fixed for premium users asap. I'm not paying for unusable service.

I did email the support and in conclusion I did whitelist "*spotify*" on AdAway settings and that seems to worked at least for me.

I'm confused. You're using an app which prevents spotify connecting to its server and you think this is something Spotify should fix?
