My Question or Issue

I recently formatted my notebook. after that, as usual, I reinstalled spotify desktop and added songs from local files to listen to on my smartphone.

I can listen to songs from local files on spotify desktop and add them to playlists, but when I access these playlists from my smartphone, I can't download them (I could before) to listen to these files on my smartphone.

I've tried everything, I've even uninstalled and reinstalled the spotify desktop and the android app more than once.

as the screenshot shows, when I click on download, the message "this song is not available" appears

Can someone help me?

Hi there @birth_lucas,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community.

Can you confirm that you followed the steps that's provided in this article? There's some more steps to help thoroughly uninstall the app from your phone and computer, so if you haven't, we'd highly suggest it since the steps will make sure there's no old cache files causing this.

If that doesn't do the trick, we suggest that you contact our customer support and ask them to remove and possible corrupt device that's connected to your account since we can't do that directly from our end.

Let us know how it goes.

Take care!
