First, we'd suggest checking Spotify's permissions in your phone's settings. Usually you can reach that by going to Settings > Apps >Spotify. You'll need to allow all of the options.

It's also a good idea to log out > restart your device > log back in to sync up all of the changes.

It happens when I'm using another application at the same time. for example when listening to spotify and playing a game at the same time. the game itself does not interrupt spotify, you can hear the sound of the game in the background. the problem is that when the game displays an ad, spotify stops playing. I was wondering if there is a way for Spotify to be playing on top of everything without interrupting, regardless of what the other apps do. Like on the computer, you only have to minimize spotify and it doesn't interfere when other programs make noise.
