spotify aux to car stereo

Problem is that when I connect my mobile to my car stereo via aux , it will play a song for few seconds then stops .

I have tryed this on WiFi/3g/4g , therefore its not a connection issue

I have changed aux cable to a new one , still the problem occurs.

I have reinstalled the app , and deleted the cache too , also used both SD card and phone memory. Still no fix !

Has anyone had this issue , I will be getting rid of spotify premium as I want it for my car . any help / savers ... Please

Does the song stop or just the sound (does the track still appear to be playing)? Can you try cleaning your headphones jack with a cotton wool bud?

The song stops , ie the play symbol re appears , I have tryed that , its weird as headphones work fine on the device , just not to my car stereo

It is odd. If it keeps on pausing it sounds like the app thinks the cable has been removed (even though it hasn't). Can you try playing something with the stock music player (or another music app) and see if the same behaviour is exhibited?

Works fine , played with YouTube same aux and mobile complelty free off problems

I just don't understand why with spotify it does this

I have the same problem. ZTE blade 610, I don't know what the problem is. I would try with soundabout.

I fix the problem. You must go to android configuration, and blocked mic permission for spotify application. Now, app works fine. It made me crazy for a month.

I had this problem but with the stereo i have theres a app you can download called arc, its only for pioneer stereos, I downloaded the arc app and played spotify through it and its perfect, doesnt stop and disconnect, I think this is a spotify problem, the same happens when I play spotify through aux in anyone elses car
