spotify codes are not showing on my phone or laptop

I wonder if anybody can help me solve my problem. my app on android nor my desktop spotify will show codes is there a setting i should have checked to be able to see them? My camera works to be able to read a code but i am unable to generate one any help would  be appreciated thank you

Since not seeing Spotify Codes with your account could be a temporary error, would you mind trying each of the following steps?

• Log out and back in. 

• Check the app is up-to-date.

• Check your device's operating system is up to date.

• Reinstall the app and restart your device.
  Note: After reinstalling, you'll need to redownload any music you've made available for offline listening.

If  you're looking for a way to generate a code, check this page out.

Thanks for reaching out.

Did you give the steps that @Mario suggested a go? In most cases they tend to fix issues like the one you're experiencing. It would be also useful if you could log in with a friend or family members account and see if the codes come up there as well.

@Riverside320 we've run a check of the site at our end and we're able to generate codes. Would you mind giving it another shot using an incognito browser? If that still doesn't do the trick, we'd appreciate a recording of what you see at your end. You can use the Insert Video option in the post editor, just make sure to hide any private/sensitive info.

I have tried everything but have now found a solution... for some reason, if I am connected to the wifi it won't work but if I use 4g it does.  I was trying it on my iPhone and my mac so not sure if there is a problem with Apple products and wifi. So give 4g/3g a try 🙂

Hi @FerdiYasar!

It's worth opening the Spotify Codes website on on another browser, or another device (if you haven't already). Make sure that your browser isn't blocking any cookies and that JavaScript is enabled.

Feel free to also try with another network or with Mobile Data to see if that does the trick.
