When connected to android auto it only play our of my front speakers

when connected to Bluetooth only it plays normally but when connected to android auto it only plays audio through the front speakers. i checked at car setting and they are set normally i think its either spotty of android auto having a setting setup incorrectly.

First up, we suggest that you check if the OS and the Spotify app have any pending updates on your phone and on the Android Auto. 

On another note, could you check if this only happens with Spotify or with other apps as well?

Lastly, could you check if the same happens using a different phone or Android Auto unit?
