My Question or Issue

Why does the previously added songs disappear from my Spotify blend whenever I or my friend manually add new songs? Does this have to do anything with premium subscription as I have premium and my friend doesn't?

Thanks for reaching out!

Blends are available to both Premium subscribers and users on free but I'm thinking that you might be referring to Collaborative playlists instead here. Blends update automatically and no one can manually add songs to them.
Although, in case I'm wrong and this is about Blends (and as there are currently no known issues with Collab playlists), it's likely that what you're observing is an automatic update, wherein some songs get replaced by others, keeping the total song count the same. 

Note that here can also always be some bugs in the way the app behaves, so don't hesitate to send us a video recording of the issue in case you think anything else is happening on your end. We'd be happy to take a look 🙂
