Can a producer lease beats that have been released on Spotify?

Can a producer lease beats that have been released on Spotify?  I would think this would be a great idea, being able to make revenue off the instrumental and the lease.  Also great exposure.  Just not sure if this is allowed.

Hey! This is great question. I believe the answer is no, but it would definitely be an interesting feature moving forward. As of right now, you would have to get in contact with the artist directly.

Thank you for getting back to me. I'm the producer and am wanting to
generate the income on the beats while waiting for someone to lease. I
know there are instrumental versions after a song has been released, just
not sure if it will work the other way around.
