How to find/add grayed out songs to playlist - found once, now gone

I wanted to make a list containing some songs that you don't have available on Spotify, but came up for me before grayed out. I found it once, was disappointed that it was not available here, then decided later I wanted to put it on my playlist anyway just to have in the list (I own in on mp3 anyway). Now when I searched for it, it didn't come up at all! When I searched for the song originally it gave me no results on the specific song (Fireworks by Embrace) but when I went to the artist and browsed their albums I found the album it's on (Fireworks: The singles 1997-2002) and found that particular song greyed out (there were others that weren't). Now that I search again, that album is gone entirely, not just grayed out. What's going on?

P.S. I'm aware you're supposed to be able to upload your own mp3s, and I would do that except I don't have most of my music in mp3, it's all in wma and I don't have a way to convert it right now. That isn't the issue - I wanted to add this song to my list just to have it written there and it was there, grayed out, several days ago!

The availability of music on Spotify is mainly up to the Record Label or the artist.

Unfortunately, the Record Label or The Artist probably decided to not have their music available for streaming on Spotify. You should try contacting the Record Label, and ask them why that Album/Song isn't on Spotify
