Now the Black Album, too?

Now the Black Album, too?

Hey there spotify,

If there's some remastered version of an album why don't you keep the original one?

I hate remastered stuff screwing up my scrobbels at lastfm.

Stop this please.

Spotify doesn't choose the versions of the songs. The labels do that.

Yes, unfortunately there's not much to do about that, and @XPerryMental is correct. I know the trouble it causes in scrobbles as well and just recently decided to (temporarily?) upgrade to last.fm pro to iron out some of the most eye-poking issues.

There are scrobblers that let you edit tags before they submit. One of those is the browser extension Web Scrobbler, and it remembers the changes you did, so basically you have to edit each track once. The best option is having last.fm pro to fix poor metadata on your scrobbles.

I don't listen to Blur on Spotify anymore because of those remastered tags. I have their boxset though, so i'm all set. 🙂

Hope this helps!
