My Question or Issue
All the books from Warhammer Black Library are not available anymore since today. Is this a technical issue? Can we expect to have them available again soon?
Solved! Go to Solution.
At least someone opened a thread already. Can we get some more Information on the issue? Like will you reupload the audiobooks anytime soon? (German customer here)
note: these books were a huge part of why i subscribe the past months … hopefully things settle and we get back to usual.
Thanks for bringing this up! This is a huge amount of content removed from a paid service without any prior notification, which is disappointing. I appreciate the moderator's answer, but aren't we paying Spotify money to reach out to the publishers so we don't have to do it individually?
Also, why does spotify not notify me upfront?
A message or indicator "This content will no longer be available after date x" would have prevented a lot of frustration. And it would have stopped me from paying another month without getting what I payed for in the first place.
Thats pretty much an non-answer. Kinda hoped we would get more than a "maybe it will come back maybe not, but try to write the publishers"
Why the F am I paying for premium?
Hopefully the books will come back, that's the reason for Spotify premium at least for me 😞
One of the reddit users called the distributor (eins a medien) of the audio books and apparently they are in clarification with Spotify about it. So let's hope for the best.
But it looks like spotify removed the books without them knowing about it...
Removed post, since the two threads were merged abd it caused a double post.
We need them back!
Otherwise we'll riot, turn our backs on Spotify, split the galaxy (of audiobooks) and there will be neverending war!
I only got Premium for these Audiobooks. Hope they bring them back. Even the Nightlord Trilogy and Eisenhorn are gone 😞
I totally agree, hoping someone will really look into this, since spotify apparently made a mistake and the auto response / default support reply "content constantly changes, please check other content" is absolutely not helping. We want to read WH40K and not other content, thats why we all have premium.
Hey Joan,
could we get more details on why the books were removed (instead of 'content constantly changes')? The current state is, the publisher didn't even know that Spotify removed them... steange isn't it?

My Question or Issue
I was in the middle of listening to "Im Schatten des Verrats [The Horus Heresy 22 (Ungekürzt)]" and suddenly the complete audiobook and a Lot of other Warhammer content is unavailable. What happened? Why is it gone? Will it come back?
Bumbing this until it is solved.
By the time, some HH books and others, like Ciaphas Cain, are available again. But others, like all Eisenhorn books, are still gone. So situation still unclear, but also no communication from spotify.
The Cain books were never gone.
According to the publisher there have been "technical issues" (whatever that means) and books should be available again soon.
Even more books are gone now. I hope to get a real answer from Spotify and not a generic response again.
The books are back.
But it took way too long (for technical issues) and the transparency & communication from spotify has a lot of room for improvement.
Thanks to all who took actions to solve this.
