My Question or Issue

Hello. I have recently found out that I cannot play any of the songs in this playlist: https://open.spotify.com/album/7G021JmzLpz6x3zNrBKGHm?si=lptFio82Q1-YJqQow1NxsQ . when I try to play it says that the songs are not available.  I know that this may be a problem with where I live, and if it is like that is there any way to know in which contries these songs are available in? Is there any way that I can fix this problem?

Hey @aknouchemarti,

Thank you for keeping in touch 🙂

We've checked this from our side and can confirm that the grayed out content is not available on Spotify.  We want all the world’s music on Spotify, but availability can change over time and between countries, depending on the permissions from rights holders.

We add new content every day, so if you can’t find something you’re looking for right now, it may appear soon.

In this case, if you go to Settings on the mobile app, you can toggle off "Show unplayable songs", and you'll be able to see only the content that is available.

Let us know if we can help you with anything else.

Hi there @aknouchemarti,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community.

Can you let us know which country you and your friend have your account set on? You can check it on your account page here.

We'll keep an eye out for your reply.

Take care!

Live, love, laugh and listen to music 🙂

hello, so actually i resolved one of the problems. I thought that my account was swedish, but actually it was still american. So we have now changed payment method to Swedish, so I cross my fingers that I will be able to play that playlist (the one my friends could play https://open.spotify.com/album/7AGiDF2Rd1iX80GSauaL46?si=zZ7vHOQpQPi8nsDyMm0A-Q ) when the next payment happens. But the other playlist (https://open.spotify.com/album/7G021JmzLpz6x3zNrBKGHm?si=puB9phqMRTysdJ3zfy0MjA ), none of my friends can play and neither me. So I guess that it is not available in the US nor Sweden.

Right now my account country is set on the US, but next month it will be Sweden as we've changed our payment method. All of my friends have Swedish accounts.
