spotify radio made by me but also not?

My Question or Issue

i was looking up the name of an artist i listen to, and in the results a spotify radio playlist based on that artist popped up. when viewing the playlist, it says it's made for me and has about 170 likes. not sure how people found it, but that's not important. i also can't edit or private it. but the weird thing is when viewing this playlist in an incognito browser, it says it's made by spotify and has an ENTIRELY different song list. is this a glitch? i found one reddit post talking this issue but it has been deleted and i don't think anybody responded to it.

You are right this is an artist's radio. Let me clarify a few things so you can understand better why there are likes on this and different songs for different users.

There are many personalized playlists available on Spotify for every user. The artist radio is one of those. It uses your listening habits and generates tracks based on that as a factor along with other things like the artist's info, their discography, similar content, etc.

Therefore when you see the same playlist from a different account, it will show made for "the logged-in account's display name". And these are public playlists made for everyone but curated for each user. Hence, you see likes or the number of hearts this playlist has.

Rest assured, your personalized content is private to you.

Hi, Is it possible to turn off the 'for <my account>'  when viewing song or artist radio? I am interested in finding songs that are not curated by my account and that are generally similar to that song or artist.

This is a bit tricky, but I think you can do this with the following workaround:

1. Start a Radio in the Web Player on one device while logged out - this will load a playlist that's not tailored according to your personal taste profile.
2. Using another device where you're logged in, search for the new tracks in the app to check them out.
