Hey @Dmitrу,

Thanks for reaching out.

As a first step, can you please let us know your device model, OS version and Spotify version, so we can investigate further? We've tested this on both mobile and desktop but couldn't reproduce the issue.

Also, please note that the default behavior when playing an album from Your Library with Repeat and Autoplay disabled is to jump to the first track and stop the playback. The playback continues to the next album only when you're playing from the artist's discography on their page.

Looking forward to your reply.

That’s exactly what happens, the playback moves to this first song in the SAME album and stops.

It must move to the first track of the next album and it must not stop. Plus shuffle must work to randomly choose the next album, when activated. Without this, there is simply no way to listen to all the songs in the Library.

This feature is the very basic and essential. Users must be able to listen to all the songs in their Library. Currently, this is impossible.

Spotify for macOS, the latest public version.

Hey @Dmitrу,

Thank you for keeping in contact.

The behavior you're describing is expected if you're just playing a single album with the Autoplay feature turned off. The playback will automatically return to the first song of the same album when all the tracks have been played.

If you want to play more than one album of an artist, you can open their full discography by clicking the option "See all" on top of the Discography section and adding the albums you want to listen to in the Play Queue. To do so, you just need to right-click the album art and select the option "Add to queue". If you want to clear the play queue later, you can follow the instructions in this article.

Also, a similar idea about playing the entire discography was already posted here and is currently set as "Live Idea" - Feel free to show your support to it by adding your vote with the "Thumbs up" button.

Hope this helps. If anything else comes up, the Community will be here for you.

Thank you must change this “expected” behavior because it’s useless and wrong!

I just want to play all the songs in my Library. And this is currently IMPOSSIBLE. Until you fix this issue.

I do not like this 'expected' behavior, for two reasons:

- A good music album is composed with a beginning and end in mind. So, after the grand finale, it is absolutely distracting that we automatically return to the beginning. This is akin to watching a movie that somehow rewinds to the first scene after the credits rolled. Stupid.

- Two: this behavior is totally new since a month or so. It worked fine as it was. Please return Spotify to behave better than the bar that you set yourself as 'expected'.

Cheers.
