Incorrect account when logging into Spotify

Hello,

 

I've been using Spotify for sometime. Today when I logged in using my normal details (Facebook account) I am getting logged into my sons account. I have his playlists, his radio stations etc. However the account name in the top right hand corner of the spotify App has my name and my Facebook picture.

 

When I go to the Spotify website and login using my details I get a similar experience. My son's profile etc, my sons username in the top bar but with my Facebook picture.

 

I've tried logging out from the app and the website, I've tried doing the sign out from all devices, but when ever I log in I'm back to his account.

 

I've had a look at the support articles and there are cases where the incorrect Facebook friends etc seem to be pulled in, however this doesn't appear to be the case here as I am actually being logged into my sons account.

Son! Maybe your son cause peskyneil

What has happened is your Facebook account has become tied to your sons normal Spotify account, it happens sometimes if you are sharing devices (annoyingly!). 

Your account will unfortunately be lost in the login system for the time being. First thing to do is break the link between the accounts by going to Edit/Spotify > Preferences > Social Network > Disconnect from Facebook in the desktop Spotify. Your sons account will then be fine, but you will need a hand to get back to yours which you can get if you get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form.

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.
